Co-curricular Activities
01. Yoga Classes
‘Yoga is an art and science of living.’ This ancient science is what we trust to cleanse our body, mind and soul. Trained Yoga instructor trains the students the Yogic science thereby enhancing the overall growth of the students. A shed is provided for this purpose where all the students of the entire school can practice yoga at the same time if required be. Yoga day is celebrated every year.
02. Dance Classes
‘We dance for laughter, we dance for tears. We dance for madness, we dance for fears, we dance for hopes, we dance for screams, we are the dancers, we create the dreams.’ As has rightly been expressed by Albert Einstein we at Harward encourage our students to express themselves through dance for which we have a qualified and enthusiastic teacher. The dance class is held in the shed mentioned above. To analyze this skill we occasionally hold dance competitions and performances to allow the students to express their views through this art form.
03. Science Park
‘Science by itself has no moral dimension. But it does seek to establish truth.’ And upon this truth morality can be built. To experience this truth and create a platform for morality to grow the science park at our institution provides a perfect stage for the students to do so. The inquisitive minds of the students are answered by the equipment installed at the park. We also inspire our students through science fair and competition organized every year awarding and felicitating the creative geniuses.
04. Horse Riding
It teaches your child Horse Riding extensive research has proved that children who engage in horse riding show significant improvement in their cognitive ability. In simple terms, horse riding classes can help them improve their learning ability, get better at the problem-solving, and sharpen their focus.
05. Abacus
Abacus learning helps with the basic calculations like addition, multiplication, subtraction, and division, but it also helps in effective counting of decimal points, negative numbers, etc. When students learn to use an abacus, they use their hands and a tool with beads to calculate numbers.
06. Music Classes
Harward International School recognizes the profound impact of music on a child’s cognitive and emotional development. Our music classes, led by skilled instructors, offer students the opportunity to explore various instruments, vocal techniques, and musical genres. Regular performances and events showcase the musical talents of our students, fostering a love for the arts.
07. Taekwondo
Taekwondo training offers numerous benefits for young learners, promoting improved physical fitness, superior mind-body coordination, and self-discipline. These classes empower students to embody the characteristics of a martial art practitioner, fostering their physical and mental well-being.
08.Reasoning and Aptitude (Grades 1-5):
Harward International School places a strong emphasis on developing critical thinking skills from an early age. Our reasoning and aptitude classes for grades 1-5 provide students with activities and challenges that enhance logical reasoning, problem-solving, and analytical skills. This foundational training sets the stage for academic success and lifelong learning.
09. Integrated Foundation Program (Grades 6-10)
For students in grades 6-10, Harward offers an integrated foundation program designed to provide a seamless transition between academic levels. This program focuses on interdisciplinary learning, critical thinking, and application of knowledge. Students are exposed to real-world scenarios, preparing them for the challenges of higher education and beyond.
